During 2002 investigations to purchase a plywood press was initiated and eventually commissioned and installed. We now produce plywood on this 5 station plywood press to specifications as per our customers need.

The normal size of plywood sheets are 1220mm x 2440mm, however we are able to deliver exact size pieces to the customer ready for use, which means no wastage or off cuts.

Products range from pallets for brick making machines to plywood for the manufacture of furniture storage containers.

Many different products are manufactured from plywood. Here are just two of those products...

1. Pallets are used in the cement or concrete brick manufacturing process. Also referred to as skid boards. With such a variety of brick-making machines on the market, it is necessary to make pallets according to requirements of the machines in use.  Sizes vary from 500mm x 300mm x 16mm thick to 1,400mm x 875mm x 42mm thick.  We manufacture pallets strictly to meet the customer's specifications. So as to create a degree of water resistance, for the end product, a percentage of a melamine additive is mixed with the urea-resin glues, in the plywood making process. We are prepared to work in consultation with our customers so as to ultimately produce the pallet that will do the job.
   
   
2. Furniture storage bins, also known as pallets We are prepared to supply a furniture storage pallet, ready for use, in other words, all six parts....2 long sides, 2 short sides, 1 floor and 1 roof are ready to be installed by means of spring-steel clips.  If the customer has their own resident carpenter, we are willing to supply the exact sizes in plywood needed, this mean NO off-cuts.
